Croatian B1 Level – Final Exam
This final examination is designed to assess your independent use and nuanced understanding of the Croatian language at the B1 level. The exam is structured into three key sections, testing your ability to handle complex topics and express yourself cohesively: 1. Listening (Listening Comprehension) Module Description: Carefully listen to audio recordings that include the main points of clear, standard speech on familiar topics (work, education, travel, environment), as well as personal stories, arguments, and opinions. Demonstrate your ability to understand essential information, author's intent, and expressed attitudes in longer segments and discussions. 2. Reading (Reading Comprehension) Module Description: Read texts written in everyday language (eg, personal letters, simple newspaper articles, blog posts, short reports on current events). Answer questions to prove that you can understand the main idea, the author's stance, and specific details within texts related to relationships, lifestyle, technology, and cultural interests. 3. Writing (Writing) Module Description: Write clear and coherent texts on familiar topics or topics of personal interest. The goal is to demonstrate the ability to describe experiences and events using the Past Tense and verb tense, express and justify your opinions on complex issues (eg, sustainability, technology), and effectively use the vocabulary and grammar learned at the B1 level.
