Course Content

Module 1: Daily routine and everyday life
In this lesson, we learn how to describe our everyday life using regular verbs in the present tense, use adverbs of frequency such as immer, manchmal, and selten, and correctly construct basic sentences in German.

Module 2: Travel and transportation
In this lesson, we learn how to describe ways of traveling and means of transportation, use prepositions of motion such as mit, nach, and in, and give and understand simple directions for getting around on a trip.

Module 3: Health and the doctor
In this lesson, we learn how to describe health problems, use important expressions when visiting a doctor, make an appointment, and use the verb tun and modal verbs to give advice and express problems.

Module 4: Shopping and Trade
In this lesson, we learn how to navigate the store, ask questions about price and quantity, correctly use the verb brauchen and expressions with möchten, and expand our vocabulary related to everyday shopping and items.

Module 5: Work and workplace
In this lesson, we learn how to describe our profession, daily work tasks, and work environment, use present tense verbs in a business context, and expand our vocabulary related to professions and office life.

Module 6: Leisure and activities
In this lesson, we learn how to talk about leisure activities, express what we like to do using the expression "gern", and correctly use present tense verbs in everyday contexts.

Module 7: Describing people and character
In this lesson, we learn how to describe people by their appearance and characteristics, use adjectives and their grammatical rules correctly, and how to ask and answer questions about someone's characteristics.

Module 8: Housing and finding accommodation
In this lesson, we learn how to describe your home, use ads and phrases to search for accommodation, and correctly use location prepositions such as "in", "auf", "neben".

Module 9: Food and Cooking
In this lesson, we learn how to describe foods and dishes, understand recipes and expressions related to food preparation, and talk about eating habits in everyday life.

Module 10: Education and school
In this lesson, we learn how to describe schooling and the educational journey, talk about subjects, school schedules, and classroom experiences, and use basic vocabulary related to school and teachers.

Module 11: Weather and Nature
In this lesson, we learn how to describe weather and natural phenomena in the present and past, use basic adjectives and verbs for weather conditions, and talk about the environment.

Module 12: Travel and accommodation
In this lesson we learn how to book accommodation, search for and understand basic travel information, and use useful phrases in the context of stay and communication.

Module 13: Present and Perfect – difference and application
In this lesson, we learn to distinguish between the present (Präsens) and the past tense (Perfekt), to correctly form the perfect tense for various verbs, and to use both tenses in everyday speech.

Module 14: Perfect – past tense in speech
In this lesson, we learn how to form the past tense (Perfect) with regular and irregular verbs, when it is used in everyday speech, and how to distinguish between the auxiliary verbs haben and sein depending on the verb.

Module 15: Modal verbs in everyday use
In this lesson, we learn how to correctly use the modal verbs können, müssen, dürfen and sollen to express possibility, obligation, permission and advice in everyday situations.

Module 16: Comparisons and Superlatives
In this lesson, we learn how to compare people and things using comparatives and superlatives, and how to correctly use the words wie and als in comparisons.

Module 17: Future actions and plans
In this lesson, we learn how to talk about future events using the construction werden + infinitive and how to express immediate intentions using gehen + zu + verb.

Module 18: Expressing opinions and agreement
In this lesson, we learn how to express our opinions, agree or disagree with someone in an appropriate way, and use useful expressions to express opinions in everyday conversations.

Module 19: Past tense in context
In this lesson, we learn how to use the perfect tense to describe past events, distinguish between regular and irregular verbs, and use time expressions in everyday communication.

Module 20: Final review
In this lesson, we review all the main topics from the A2 level and practice their application through dialogues and tasks, in order to prepare for the final exam.

German A2 Level – Final Exam
This final exam is designed to assess your knowledge of German at the A2 level. The exam consists of three key parts: Hören (Listening with Comprehension): Listen carefully to short audio recordings on familiar topics, short conversations and clear instructions. Show your understanding of the main information and specific details in everyday situations. Lesen (Reading with Comprehension): Read short, connected texts (e.g. personal messages, advertisements, simple articles, descriptions of events) and answer questions to prove that you understand the main information and key details. Schreiben (Writing an Essay/Text): Write a short, meaningful text or essay on a given topic, using the vocabulary and grammar learned at the A2 level. The aim is to demonstrate your ability to formulate connected sentences and short messages on familiar topics.
