Module 2: Countries, Nationalities, and Age
Learn how to ask "Where are you from?" and answer using vocabulary for countries and nationalities (Croatia, Croat). Practice using the verb to be for describing origin and learn the basics of using numbers to express age (How old are you?).

Module 3: Family, Friends, and Professions
Expand your vocabulary with names for family members and common professions (doctor, student). Master the second key verb: Imati (to have) in the present tense, and learn how to ask basic questions about people.

Module 4: Food, Drinks, and Ordering
Module Description: Discover vocabulary for food and drinks and essential phrases for ordering in a restaurant. You will learn the verb Željeti (to want) in the present tense and use polite expressions (Please, The bill, please).

Module 5: Home, Furniture, and Location
Learn the names of rooms in a home (kitchen, bedroom) and basic furniture. Practice using prepositions of place (in, on, under, in front of) to describe where objects are located.

Module 6: Describing People and Clothing
Learn adjectives to describe physical appearance (tall, beautiful) and names of clothing items. Practice adjective agreement with nouns by gender and use the verb Nositi (to wear).

Module 7: Telling Time and Daily Schedule
Learn to tell time and ask the question "Koliko je sati?" (What time is it?). Introduce numbers relevant to hours and minutes. Practice talking about the time of day and forming a basic daily schedule (in the morning, at noon, in the evening).

Module 8: At the Restaurant
Focus on dining: learn specific vocabulary for meals and dishes (appetizer, dessert, main course). Practice polite forms (What do you recommend?) and make specific requests (vegetarian, without meat).

Module 9: Travel and Getting Around
Master vocabulary for transportation (bus, train) and places (station, airport). Learn how to ask for and give directions (Go straight, Turn left/right) and use the verbs Ići (to go) and Voziti se (to ride/drive).

Module 10: At the Doctor’s and Making Appointments
Essential vocabulary for health and symptoms (headache, cough). Learn how to make an appointment and explain health issues, using the special verb Boljeti (to hurt) (My stomach hurts).

Module 11: Personal Data and Identity
Filling out forms and providing personal information (name, surname, address, e-mail). Practice the verb Zvati se (to be called) and use question words (who, what, where, when) to ask about identity.

Module 12: The Verb “Biti” (Review and Negation)
Detailed repetition and consolidation of the verb Biti (to be) in the present tense. Master the negation (I am not, you are not, etc.). Vocabulary for professions and identity.

Module 13: The Verb “Imati” and Possessive Pronouns
Consolidation of the verb Imati (to have) and introduction to possessive pronouns (my, your, his, her). Learn how to express possession and make the pronouns agree with nouns.

Module 14: Numbers, Dates, and Birthdays
Learn numbers up to 100, days of the week, and months. Practice stating your age and the date of your birthday.

Module 15: Hobbies and Free Time
Vocabulary for free time activities (to read, to travel, to play). Master the verb Voljeti (to like/love) and use the infinitive to express preferences.

Module 16: Nature, Animals, and Weather
Expand vocabulary with names for nature (forest, river, mountain) and common animals. Learn to describe the weather and seasons (sunny, rain, summer, winter).

Module 17: Daily Routine and Time Expressions
Describing everyday activities (to wake up, to have breakfast, to go to work). Learn to use essential time expressions (in the morning, in the afternoon, at X o'clock, every day).

Module 18: Shopping and Money
Vocabulary for shopping (store, market), money (euro, cash) and useful phrases (How much does it cost?). Introduce the Accusative Case in the context of shopping (I am buying + Accusative).

Module 19: Grammatical Genders and Demonstrative Pronouns
A crucial lesson on grammatical gender (masculine, feminine, neuter). Learn demonstrative pronouns (this, that: ovaj, taj, onaj) and practice adjective and pronoun agreement with nouns by gender.

Module 20: Final Review and Practice Test
Module Description: Comprehensive review of key vocabulary and grammar from the entire A1 level (present tense of verbs, Accusative, pronouns, numbers, time expressions). Practice exercises for the final test and practical communication.

Croatian A1 Level – Final Exam
This final examination is designed to assess your knowledge and proficiency in the Croatian language at the A1 level. The exam is divided into three core sections, based on the skills acquired across Modules 1 to 20: 1. Slušanje (Listening Comprehension) Module Description: Carefully listen to short audio recordings and demonstrate your understanding of basic information, simple short dialogues (e.g., greetings, introductions, ordering food, asking for directions), and straightforward instructions related to daily life and the topics covered in the course. 2. Čitanje (Reading Comprehension) Module Description: Read simple, short texts, such as advertisements, basic emails, personal descriptions, and messages regarding travel, hobbies, or daily routines. Answer questions to prove comprehension of the main idea and specific details about the text's content (e.g., names, locations, prices, times). 3. Pisanje (Writing) Module Description: Write short texts or fill in forms on a given topic using the vocabulary and grammar learned at the A1 level. The goal is to demonstrate the ability to construct simple sentences, write brief personal messages, describe your daily routine, or provide basic personal data.
