Croatian B2 Level – Final Exam
This comprehensive final examination is designed to assess your ability to use the Croatian language independently, effectively, and spontaneously in a wide range of academic, professional, and social contexts at the B2 level. The exam is structured into three key sections, validating your mastery of the advanced B2 skills: 1. Slušanje (Listening Comprehension) Module Description: Carefully listen to longer audio recordings, including extended talks, detailed arguments, and discussions on both familiar and abstract topics (e.g., social issues, financial planning, and ethical dilemmas). Demonstrate your ability to understand complex lines of reasoning, implicit meaning, and the speaker's attitude or point of view even when the language is nuanced. 2. Čitanje (Reading Comprehension) Module Description: Read and analyze complex texts written in a variety of styles (e.g., editorials, detailed reports, academic articles, and literature excerpts). Answer questions to prove that you can understand the main content, critical arguments, stylistic features, and the author's intent in texts related to politics, science, culture, and environmental policy. 3. Pisanje (Writing) Module Description: Write clear, well-structured, and detailed texts on complex subjects. The goal is to demonstrate the ability to express and defend opinions convincingly, develop arguments systematically, describe hypothetical events (using Conditional II), and effectively use the advanced vocabulary, complex sentence structures (subordinate clauses), and integrated verb tenses learned at the B2 level.
